Stagetext captioned performances

Theatre captions are similar to television subtitles. The actors’ words appear on a screen, placed next to the stage or in the set, at the same time as they are spoken or sung. Captions also include additional information such as speaker names, sound effects and offstage noises. For OT On Screen on demand performances these can be switched on or off.

We reserve seats specifically in a position to be able to best view the captions. Please call the Box Office to book these seats on 020 8940 3633 (Monday to Saturday 10am to 6pm).

Apply to join our Access List

The Orange Tree Theatre wants to make sure everyone can access its productions, and that if you have access requirements* your booking process is as smooth as possible.

Completing this form and joining the Access List will ensure you don’t need to repeat your requirements when booking, and we can always find the most suitable seat for you.
