adapted and directed by KELLY HUNTER
Twelfth Night sees Flute Theatre return to the OT following productions of The Tempest in 2016 and A Midsummer Night’s Dream in 2017 and 2018.
Flute Theatre creates ground-breaking productions of Shakespeare for autistic individuals and their families. Up to 12 participants for each performance sit with the actors on the OT stage, and experience Shakespeare’s story through sensory games, which everyone plays together. Each performance is adapted to the specific needs of the participants, however complex they may be.
“A unique theatrical experience which genuinely puts the sense of play back into Shakespeare and is truly interactive. Flute Theatre is unique” Lyn Gardner, The Guardian
