A distinctive programme of musical crosscurrents, pianist Harry Baker explores the rich dialogue between French classical music and jazz.
Moving seamlessly from the vibrant harmonies of Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel to the improvisatory worlds of John Coltrane and Bill Evans, the programme weaves together reimagined masterworks, seminal jazz tunes and the American Songbook. The concert brings together luminaries from contrasting traditions to create a fluid, genre-defying sound world—where modal chant meets modern harmony, impressionist colour dissolves into swing, and composition merges with improvisation in real time.
“Twenty-something music explorer Harry Baker.”

The church is located on Church Walk, Richmond, TW9 1SN, and offers level access through wide glass doors and parking very close to the church with easy drop-off.
Inside there is a lift to upstairs facilities, a wheelchair-accessible toilet on the ground floor just off the entrance lobby, and chairs rather than fixed pews so special seating can be arranged on request.
A sound (induction) loop system is installed throughout, and if you will need assistance, the church welcomes you to contact them in advance to arrange support.
