24 May 2021 – 26 June 2021

This page is for the performance of Bernard Shaw's short play Overruled.

You can book for the other Shaw Shorts play How He Lied to Her Husband separately here, with a break of about 75 minutes in between performances. Why not have a meal during the break?

You can book for the double bill performances here: both plays will be performed straight through with no interval.

Or go to Shaw Shorts: OT On Screen to find out more about watching the production online.

Overruled sees two strangers fall in love at sea. Both married they decide they must part, but then are surprised to find their spouses at a hotel together. They’ve fallen for each other too. Do they stay together or swap?

This short play by Bernard Shaw is directed by Artistic Director Paul Miller following his hugely successful OT productions of Shaw’s Candida, Misalliance, The Philanderer and Widowers’ Houses.

Overruled is playing alongside How He Lied to Her Husband. You can see both plays in one afternoon or evening with a break of about an hour in between. You will need to book these separately - book tickets to How He Lied to Her Husband here

You can also watch the two plays in a double bill with no interval - BOOK HERE
