Running a 10k, or even a Marathon? Cycling up a big hill or giving up something for a month? It’s easy to support the Orange Tree Theatre through your event. You can sign up to our site on Givey and ask your friends and contacts to support your challenge.
Any amount raised makes a huge difference to the OT. Donations to the Orange Tree Theatre are vital for the theatre to thrive and grow. Each year, we need to raise £450,000 to enable us to produce our unique mix of new work and revivals, seen by over 55,000 people each year in our intimate theatre. We also raise funds for our Education & Participation projects that 10,000 young people take part in each year.
I’ve done quite a bit of fundraising over the years and last year I took on my biggest challenge yet, an Ironman triathlon.
I chose to support the Orange Tree as they receive no subsidy and yet the small but formidable team produce outstanding theatre which reaches thousands of people from all backgrounds.
I am incredibly proud to have made my own small contribution to the on-going success of the Orange Tree and knowing the difference that the sponsorship would make definitely spurred my on over the 12 hours it took me to complete the event!
Last year OT supporter Rob raised over £6,000 for the Orange Tree Theatre while competing in an Ironman Triathalon. An incredible achievement physically and in fundraising!
Any support you can give the OT makes a huge difference. This summer our Youth Theatre raised a brilliant £200, by holding bucket collections after their summer performances.
