Community Assistants (Kickstart vacancies)


We are recruiting for two Community Assistants, which are creative and administrative training roles supporting young people to create exciting work and reach their artistic potential. The roles will support the Community Group Directors by managing the environment and delivery of weekly classes which will lead to performances. 

The Community Assistants are two new roles supported by the Government’s Kickstart Scheme and Creative Access. ​

This training role is open to candidates aged 18-24 and in receipt of Universal Credit. You must be referred to us via your Job Centre Work Coach. ​

Please note that to help address the under-representation, at the OT and in the wider Creative Industries in the UK, of people who experience racism, ableism and/or classism this training role is only open to people who are ethnically diverse, D/deaf, disabled, neurodivergent and/or working class.
