Front of House

The Orange Tree Theatre relies on its volunteers to help sell programmes and  ice cream. If you are interested please contact Derek Lamden at derek.lamden@orangetreetheatre.co.uk.

Daytime help

To keep our audience as fully informed as possible on our activities, up to six thousand letters can be sent out per show. With a small administrative team, you can imagine that the workload is very heavy! All offers of help with our mailings will be greatly appreciated no matter how little time you can spare.

The Orange Tree's Marketing department is also seeking volunteers to help with postering - if you could spare an hour or so a month to put up a few posters, please get in touch. I'm particularly looking for volunteers who live out of Richmond - in Barnes, Kew, Mortlake, Hounslow, Brentford, Kingston etc.

Become a Student Rep

Student Representatives

As part of our commitment to reaching new audiences, we are currently looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated students to promote the theatre on campus.

How it works:

What we want from you:

• The motivation and ability to encourage other students to visit the Orange Tree.
• The ability to distribute promotional material around your school/college or University.
• To bring two or more friends along to our Student Rep Nights.

What you get from us:

• A complimentary ticket for yourself as the student rep to our Student Rep Nights on the first Thursday night of every production.
• Pre-show talks by the director of the show/assistant directors/artistic directors on Student Rep Nights
• £5 tickets for each friend you bring with you (free for any under 26s who've not yet been involved in A Night Less Ordinary).
