
What is Stories in Gardens?
We're working in partnership with Funsense , the Holly Lodge Centre and Garrick’s Temple to bring you an arts event all about enjoying outside spaces, especially gardens, through arts activities and stories. This year there will be stories, an opportunity to make miniature gardens and lanterns, wild animals and some interesting sights and sounds.... Suitable for all ages and accessible to wheelchairs and buggies. This event is designed to attract all families, with an emphasis on families of children with disabilities or learning difficulties.

Holly Lodge is the headquarters of Richmond Park. It is a very busy and active place but also has some beautifully quiet places to enjoy. Hear stories with Debs Newbold, come face-to-face with some wild animals, make yor own miniature gardens and take some time to enjoy some ambient sound and tactile activities. David Garrick's Temple to Shakespeare sits on the banks of the River Thames in its own pretty garden. For Stories in Gardens the Temple will be home to some interesting sounds and you can enjoy stories and activities inspired by the fairies of Shakespeare's plays.Click here for information on and directions to Garrick's Temple.
Sessions
Both venues have two sessions: 10-30am-12.30 and 1.30pm-3.30pm.
